This is a WIDESPREAD issue that is impacting the SERIES X.

I'm going to stop driving myself crazy with this for now. It's the AUTO SCENE mode and UI not reacting to button presses that are the issue. It will ALWAYS turn if OFF along with my AVR correctly.

When I go into my TV's menu it recognizes the Xbox as an XBOX and SOMETIMES turns it ON sometimes I just get an "ACCESSING PLEASE WAIT" message when I select my Series X to turn it on and NOTHING happens. I'm probably just getting confused by UPnP. If you're a TV integrator don't read this, you'll laugh. There wasn't any documentation, so I've written some. There's a more complex auth flow but I've not described it here. Is there a quick way to RESET the HDMI or FORCE the Series X to read my TV's EDID correctly? I've never had this issue with anything else ever. The sony bravia has a HTTP API interacted with using a Pre-Shared key. When I first tried to turn on the HDMI-CEC option the machine kind of fought it, it rebooted the first time and DID NOT toggle it, but the 2nd time the settings stayed CHECKED.ĪLSO, I have my TV set to AUTO scene mode which on my PS3, PS4, Pi 2 AND 3, automatically changes the scene according to the content ie for GAMES it changes it to GAME MODE for movies it changes it to 24p mode. I'm using the HDMI cable that shipped with the Series X. It doesn't make any sense for it NOT to work. Is this a known issue or something with only MY TV? My Sony TV, has HDMI-CEC like every modern TV, and I have it ENABLED on my Xbox Series X, my TV, my AVR, and it WORKS PERFECTLY on my PS4, my Raspberry pi 2 and 3, but NOT on my Xbox Series X, when I try to control the UI with the buttons, NOTHING happens.
